The Jester is a Tier 7 island boss located in Noble Estates.

The Battle

The Jester is a mostly-stationary boss that uses very dense amounts of bullets in slow to stationary velocities to cover most of the arena. The bullets of his minions are random, based on the positioning of your ship, and/or others. There are small amounts of gaps between the bullets, so you'll have to tank a small amount of damage to be near the boss, this is very apparent in phase 2. The Jester is always in a state of vulnerability and will not have a shield based on the minions the Jester spawns, this makes high damaging ships like the Quad a good choice to deal high amounts of damage, very quickly at a safe distance.

Phase 1

Upon entering the Jester's arena, he will slowly follow the nearest player and fire a ring of 12 circular bullets out, every 4th bullet being larger and more damage dealing, starting from the top. The normal bullets do a small amount of damage and are at a small size, while the larger bullets do moderate damage and are at a large size. He will always fire this bullet pattern from him every 2 seconds for the entirety of the battle. He will have 2 minions that are in the arena when you fight him, they have low hp and fire directly from where they are facing, and behind them, in a laser-like bullet pattern with a low range. The bullets do small damage and are a medium length. They will wander aimlessly around the arena. It is not necessary to kill these unnamed minions.

Every fourth time the Jester attacks, he will create 3 small walls of 6 medium-sized bullets in 120 degrees of his body. He will also spawn another unnamed minion and 3 mines that quickly follow a nearby player in a helix pattern. If the player is in the red area of the mines, they will combust and turn into a medium-sized, dense wall of bullets surrounding the player after 1 second has elapsed. Upon contact with its bullet, it will cause a moderate amount of damage. If one of the mines doesn't reach a player within 3 seconds, it will combust and not release a circle of bullets.

When the Jester is down to two-thirds of his hp, his attack will automatically change to every third bullet becoming larger and more damage dealing instead of every fourth, the bullet pattern starts at his third bullet, starting from the third from the top. This pattern will repeat until the Jester is damaged to about a third of his remaining hp, entering Phase 2.

Phase 2

When the Jester is down to a third of his remaining hp left, his bullet pattern will have 18 bullets instead of 12, every third bullet is larger and deals more damage, starting from the top. Every 2 seconds, after 1 second has elapsed from his normal attack, he will create 3 walls of 6 bullets, the exact same bullets in Phase 1, but now, it occurs faster.

Every fourth time the Jester does its normal attack (unless he fires his mines), he will spawn 6 (insert name of the turrets here) out from him in a circle. When they reach a small distance away from the Jester, they will become stationary and fire a long-range laser that does not deal damage but will trace bullets at the end of the lasers. The lasers will spin at a medium speed in the clockwise direction starting from the bottom, and end when it reaches a full 360 degrees. When the (Insert name) end, they will combust and poof. Be careful though, because the bullets the (Insert name) leaves behind, will last 6 and a half seconds! The bullets are medium sized and do moderate damage. every time the Jester does his normal attacks 6 times after he fires his (Insert Name), he will spawn 6 mines that act in the same way as in Phase 1.


The Jester has some pretty low hp, if you have a few friends, you can easily melt away the Jester in a few seconds, due to him not having any invulnerability. If you can't kill the Jester very quickly, a good tip is to switch to speed engine whenever the Jester spawns his mines, as they do nothing if they don't reach a player in time.

The Loot

Jester, like any other world or event boss, has a 1% unscaled damage of the boss's HP requirement to earn loot. Possible loot drops include Tier 7 equipment (Sometimes) and Tier 8 (Rare). It may also drop the dungeon Home for Special Children upon death.
