The Sentinel is a Tier 10 Elite enemy located in the Imperial Palace. It only appears on Saturdays with its own Squad Mission.
If you approach the Sentinel, it will send out 5 adds, which leave a trail of damaging shots and will fire lasers after a delay. To make the Sentinel vulnerable you must defeat 3 of the adds before they despawn. The adds are resistant to Water and weak to Lightning damage.
After the adds are defeated, the Sentinel will become vulnerable and proceed to shoot many small shots around and behind itself while attempting to flee from the player. It is very difficult and dangerous to try and catch the Sentinel if it flees - after a set distance it will stop, become invulnerable again and spawn more adds.
The key to defeating a Sentinel is to have multiple players constantly facing its eye. Facing the Sentinel directly will make it turn away from the player, but multiple players surrounding it will effectively box it in, allowing it to be quickly focused down and destroyed.
Known Bug: Fleeing Sentinels will sometimes run as far away as the Fishing Zone. If the player attempts to follow them, at a certain point they will be immediately sent back to Rebel City. It is usually best to ignore Sentinels who do this.
