"I taste bones. Ground like fine powder."

Traitor Phoenix is a tier 10 dungeon boss found within the Reeducation Camp.

Behavior

Starting Phase

The Traitor Phoenix chases the closest player slowly while emitting a great amount of triangular flame bullets from its front and two wings. It also leaves behind a trail of slow-moving flame bullets as it moves. This phase persists until it is killed.

Egg Phase

The Traitor Phoenix becomes invulnerable and transforms into an egg, while summoning a number of prison guards. The egg releases small, short-ranged flame bullets. After a certain period of time, lava pillars erupt below it, triggering its next phase.

Rebirth Phase

The Rebirth Phase is almost identical to the Starting Phase, except it now goes invulnerable several times at specific health intervals. It will occasionally charge the closest player while rapidly firing flame bullets in front of it. This happens twice, with an Egg Phase in between.

  • Percentages aren't always exact. Some are based on patterns. Some are even just estimates.
  • Values shown are "chance for this item to drop on any given kill" with one exception:
    • Where "one of many" can drop (e.g. T10s, ELEM weapons), they all show the total chance that any of them will drop.

Notes

  • Traitor Phoenix's boss room can spawn with a multitude of hazards which make the fight a lot more dangerous. It's recommended to clear out a few Sniper Towers before starting the fight, particularly in the large room with flame vents.
  • Don't panic if the boss corners you. Traitor Phoenix's bullets have extremely short range, so most of the time it should be possible to sidestep it completely and escape.
  • Only damage done to its final form will qualify for loot.
